Product DescriptionThe Camden CX ED1079L electric strike is a versatile, grade 1 universal solution engineered for secure access control applications on metal framed doors. It operates on 12 or 24 volts AC or DC and supports selectable fail safe or fail secure modes to accommodate diverse security and emergency egress requirements. Constructed with a stainless steel body, it delivers a holding strength of 1,500 pounds and a dynamic strength rating of 70 foot pounds, ensuring durability under demanding conditions. Its horizontal body adjustment and inclusion of three stainless steel faceplates (ANSI square, hollow metal door, wood door) provide excellent flexibility for frame compatibility. Designed for continuous duty operation and backed by a five year warranty, this also features a built in latch monitoring switch for enhanced system feedback and reliability in commercial installations.
