Product DescriptionThis Genesis fire alarm cable is built for dependable performance in commercial and multi unit environments and features two solid bare copper conductors sized at 16 AWG that provide strong consistent signal transmission for notification appliances initiating devices and life safety control circuits. The cable is unshielded and enclosed in a durable red PVC jacket that carries a full riser rating allowing safe installation in vertical shafts and other building spaces where controlled flame spread is required. It supports a 300 V rating and an operating temperature range from 20 C to 75 C and meets the requirements of FPLR CL2R FT4 UL 1424 and UL 13 ensuring full compliance with fire alarm system standards. Supplied in a 1000 foot pulling box with sequential length markings it allows technicians to measure route and install the cable efficiently across large scale projects.
