Product DescriptionThis Genesis fire alarm cable is designed for high performance life safety systems and features four solid bare copper conductors sized at 16 AWG that provide strong dependable signal transmission for notification appliances initiating circuits and building control wiring. Each conductor is insulated with low smoke PVC and the entire assembly is enclosed in a plenum rated red PVC jacket approved for use in air handling spaces where strict flame and smoke requirements apply. The cable supports a 300 V rating and operates within a temperature range from 20 C to 75 C ensuring stable performance across varied installation conditions. It meets the requirements of NFPA 262 CSA C22.2 No 2556 and UL 1424 which ensures full compliance for plenum grade fire alarm installations. Supplied on a 500 foot reel with sequential length markings it provides technicians with efficient measurement routing and deployment for commercial multi unit and critical infrastructure projects.
