Product DescriptionThis Genesis fire alarm cable is designed for dependable performance in life safety systems and features two solid bare copper conductors sized at 16 AWG that provide strong stable signal transmission for notification appliances initiating devices and control circuits. The cable includes a full foil shield that helps reduce interference and maintain clean signal integrity in electrically active environments. Each conductor is insulated with a low smoke PVC formulation and the cable is enclosed in a red plenum rated jacket approved for installation in air handling spaces vertical shafts and other building areas where strict flame and smoke requirements apply. It supports a 300 V rating and operates within a temperature range from 20 C to 75 C ensuring reliable performance under varied conditions. Supplied in a 500 foot pulling box with sequential length markings it allows technicians to route measure and install the cable efficiently in commercial residential and multi unit projects.
