Product DescriptionThe 28-Inch Hinged Cover is made of 18-gauge powder-coated steel with a 3/4-inch overlap to hide irregular drywall cuts. Positive stops on the housing sidewalls prevent the enclosure from falling through studs during installation. Mounting guides on the 28-Inch Hinged Cover align screw-holes and reduce the chances of dropping during attachment. Mounting screws are included with the cover, which also has a knockout for an optional key lock.
