Product DescriptionThe ceiling mounted KX-08 provides wide angle (85°) coverage featuring a dense seventy six zone detection pattern. Unlike traditional wall mounted detectors the KX-08 eliminates the need for vulnerable or unsightly wall/ceiling brackets as a result of its sleek low profile ceiling mount design. Based on the highly successful RX series PIR the KX-08 provides a new solution in wide angle detector mounting and offers improved protection against detector masking caused by stock or displays.The KX-08 incorporates Optexs patented Quad-Zone-Logic which couples with in-built Pet tolerance (PT) technology to provide superior stability and catch performance in commercial and residential applications. The sealed unit provides excellent immunity against insect ingress and also features temperature compensation, 2-4 pulse count adjustment, LED disable and spherical lens design.
