Product DescriptionThis detector is designed for use with compatible addressable fire alarm control systems and provides fixed temperature heat detection with selectable set points that allow the unit to be programmed for a variety of commercial institutional and industrial environments where elevated temperatures may be expected. The sensing element monitors temperature rise and triggers an alarm when a threshold is reached which makes it well suited for areas where smoke detection may be ineffective such as mechanical rooms kitchens or warehouses. The unit mounts to a compatible base (not included) which supports clean organized wiring and simplifies installation onto standard electrical boxes.
