The pre-amplifier features an updated app with multiple enhancements, including graphic equalization, speaker presets, and a host of other features designed to offer unparalleled control and customization, and ensuring quality, support, and security for end-users and installers alike. Following in the footsteps of our SMZ8 8-Source/8-Zone Controller Amplifier with Built-in Streamer, the SMZ16-PRE features 16 stereo inputs, which can be used in any combination of up to 16 analog, six digital optical, or four digital coax inputs. Though 16x16, the SMZ16-PRE is expandable up to an incredibly powerful 16x96 stereo-channel audio matrix. As with the SMZ8, the SMZ16-PRE boasts an HDMI input (ARC) for connecting to a TV or video source that can be distributed to all zones with low latency to avoid any lip synch issues. The SMZ16-PRE also offers Stereo/Mono Output Options and is controllable with the IPK-1, XTS7 and Russound App.
