Product DescriptionThe ceiling mount horn strobe device provides combined audible and visual alerting in outdoor and indoor fire alarm systems by integrating a high output horn and a selectable output strobe in a weather rated enclosure that supports demanding commercial environments. It offers field selectable light output settings including 15 cd, 15/75 cd, 30 cd, 75 cd, 95 cd, 110 cd and 115 cd, and can automatically operate from either 12 V or 24 V power inputs at the lower candela settings, simplifying installation and system configuration. The unit is listed to UL 464 for horn operation and UL 1638 for the strobe, is rated from –40 °F to 151 °F for reliable performance under extreme conditions, mounts on a universal plate that supports wiring verification via a shorting spring prior to device attachment, and features a weather-proof back box and tamper resistant design for durable life safety signaling in institutional, commercial and industrial facilities where dependable combined notification appliances are required.
