Product DescriptionThis Vertical Cable fire alarm cable is designed for dependable performance in multi story buildings and is suited for protected signal and fire alarm riser applications that require strict safety compliance. It features 14 AWG solid bare copper conductors in a 2 conductor configuration that provides strong signal consistency for devices such as pull stations smoke detectors notification appliances and control equipment. The cable carries an FPLR riser rating and meets UL 1424 and UL 1666 requirements which ensures safe operation within vertical shafts and other riser spaces. It supports a voltage rating of 300 V and an operating temperature range from 20 C to 75 C allowing reliable use in a wide range of system environments. The durable PVC jacket is manufactured to limit smoke and corrosive fumes and the cable is supplied on a 1000 foot reel that simplifies handling layout and installation for professional fire alarm contractors.
